Leah’s mom’s house in Carlsbad, CA circa 2005?
Leah and I first met at the CCA pre-college program when we were 16. She came up to me and asked if I wanted to be friends because we were both short. That summer we stole a handle of vodka from the longs drug store and would go and drink it on a golf course that we would sneak into and just talk into the night.
We maintained a long distance friendship afterwards, with her in cali and me in mpls, visiting each other as often as we could. We would also mail each other letters and things we made. For my high school graduation she surprised me by coming to mpls and ringing the door bell on the morning of the ceremony-i cried. Last night, Leah had her senior show and she rocked it harder than anyone else.
It has been an amazing 8 years Leah, I am so incredibly proud of you and how much you have grown since we met. I can’t imagine my life without you and can’t wait to see what our future holds.
I LVEO YOU
